Oakhurst Inn At The University - Charlottesville

Had a cozy stay with a charming suite, enjoyed morning coffee in the lovely little library, and celebrated my birthday with thoughtful touches.

the room was a nice size and very well decorated, had a splendid stay of service and generosity. the pool was lovely and i had soft drinks in the coffee bar. plus, free wi-fi throughout the property was really handy.

Place was top rated, really enjoyed the stay.

Its location was best possible and prime, close to everything in the Charlottesville area. It was good to be 1 km away from Sparky's Grill, serving short-orders.

I enjoyed the quaint, beautifully decorated spaces, filled with charming decor and inviting seating areas, easy to relax and socialize. The staff were friendly, always going the extra mile .

More assistance with luggage would be appreciated.

I booked a Queen Room at Oakhurst Inn for a couple of nights. The room looked nice in the pictures. The bed felt comfy, and the linens were soft. There was a charming little library area where I enjoyed coffee in the morning. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to UVA. The walls are paper-thin. I could hear every conversation from the rooms next door. It really affected my sleep. The floors creaked a lot. No small fridge in the room was inconvenient for snacks. Some of the amenities were either limited or not functioning well. The coffee machines weren't available, disappointing. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but you could feel the communication wasn't always clear. In summary, the inn has great potential, but improvements are needed in noise control and available amenities.

The pan roasted beef tenderloin at a nearby spot was a culinary delight that blew my taste buds away! Oh, and the inviting seating areas at the Inn made for great hangouts with friends. Don't miss the unique decor that adds charm to the whole experience.

As an ADA visitor, the ada room was nearly spot-on for my mobility issues but the toilet was a no-go for comfort with its height. Next time, I'll aim for the ADA suite which is better equipped.

This place suits me perfectly! The wi-fi, bar/lounge area, and air conditioning are fantastic. On my first stay, the staff helped print important documents. I highly recommend it for a cozy weekend getaway.

It was just a suitable option for a quick trip in Charlottesville with reasonable value. The staff was very cute and accommodating . Keep in mind that parking can be a hassle, so plan accordingly.

Had a blast with my friends! We loved exploring top breweries on a 1.5-mile trail and hanging out in the cozy library with the fireplace. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was super friendly. It's a great spot for gatherings and near plenty of fun activities.

The only downside was that my room felt a bit smaller than expected, but it didn't ruin the fun.

Especially Lucas and Thomas. We enjoyed a cozy evening by the fireplace in the library after exploring the local breweries on a picturesque stroll. Loved our room!

My kids wished the pool area had more shade options. It gets hot, and a little cover would make splashing around more enjoyable.

It's a unique boutique hotel with separate buildings that adds charm. The queen room was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the easy access to nearby restaurants and found a lovely spot to bask in the sun by the pool. The breakfast areas with diverse libraries were a true plus!
